Weapon Kick

The visual weapon kick attachment effect

Weapon kick is the visual upwards movement produced when firing. It moves your viewpoint relative to the weapon’s sights, making the aiming circle much harder to see and follow. Whereas recoil displaces your aim, kick disrupts your view through the sight. In other words, if you shoot once, your aim’s position doesn’t change, but you will still experience the kick.
