Wingman is Bodycam's two-on-two Search & Destroy mode. It is the competitive mode for earning ranks and ELO.
How it works
Two teams of two contest bombsites through planting and defusing the bomb. Wingman uses a round-based format, with teams changing sides during the match.
A match cannot be joined after it starts. If the host disconnects during play, another player becomes the host and the current Wingman round restarts.
Match Info and Rewards
As of September 2026, matchmaking does not group players by skill. Competitive rewards and losses are fixed (50 ELO) rather than adjusted to the opposing team's rating.
Update history
Wingman replaced five-on-five Bodybomb on 2 September 2026. The change introduced smaller teams and revised bomb handling and side switching.
The 3 September patch fixed a defusing problem that could leave a client stuck. A further client-side defusing fix followed on 11 September.
